The 2-person team has players that tee off from different
tees. Blue for one; forward tees for the other. Handicaps have been adjusted to
accommodate this. Player A tees from the forward tees and hits the ball out of
bounds. Where does Player B hit the next shot from?

Dear Lou,
Player B will hit the next shot from the forward tees, and
that shot will be the third shot on the hole for Team A/B [Decision 29/2]. In
the reverse situation (Player B hits the ball out of bounds from the Blue tee),
Player A would hit the next shot from the Blue tee.
In foursomes (golf-speak for alternate shot), the partners
play alternately from the teeing grounds. In other words, if Player A hits the
tee shot on the first hole, Player B will hit the tee shot on the second hole,
and so forth. Once Player A tees off, play on the hole has begun. If Player A’s
tee shot goes out of bounds, the team follows the Rule for an out-of-bounds
ball, which is to hit the next shot from the spot where the original ball was
last played (the teeing ground, in this case) and add one penalty stroke to the
score.
